Oh I reeeelly don't know. There are so many good episodes on this, and also the whole seems more like a film split up rather than a series. ALSO it changes a lot, I think. They did a very good job with this one. I just can't decide...

Only the good...

Back in the red started promisingly- Episode 1 was quite good, but in Episode 2 it began to run out of story, and part 3 was just stupid. I got sick of the harkbacks to old series (the luck/sexual magnetism viruses, the Dibbley family, etc.)
Cassandra comes in at second - just a little too similar to Future Echoes for me. Kill Crazy makes a fantastic debut here - he's a little dull in later appearances.
Krytie TV was quite good, but doesn't feel good enough.
Pete is an outright clunker - whose decision was it to make it a two-parter?
Only the good... has several fantastic set pieces - the dispensing machine ("Chocolate abduction on floor 13... one day our paths will cross again and I will destroy you!), the "Have a fantastic period" sequence, Kryten's payback ("Who fancies a kebab?"), The Cat trying to get himself hospitalised.
Hope they make a Series 9, would hate to see the series end on a cliffhanger...

I agree, having Rimmer being alive was so dull compared to having him dead.
