Any news? They said they weren't planning on doing one this year, but they might if there was enough interest. Just wondered if anyone has heard anything about it.

I think that they will stick to their word. Personally, I think that with nothing really new in the RD world that maybe numbers reduce, stars have less interest in attending etc. I think that by missing a year, it will make the year after harder to do and maybe there won't be any/many more of them.

Maybe - but shouldn't that be all the more reason TO have one and promote it along with any other anniversary stuff and try to get EVERY star possible there, plus press, SFX etc.

The main RD webpage currently says something exciting is due to happen in 10 day?

I"M BACK ONLINE. WOO HOO!!! I stuffed Virgin and BT in the end and went with O2 who supply my mobile. Now I need to sort out my claim from Virgin and BT which should total about £250ish+ between them.

Unless the movie becomes back on again, I can't see another DJ happening. There was nearly an unofficial one this year, but bad advertising meant poor ticket sales and it was cancelled.

I did say unless the movie is back on. They had originally said no episodes until after a movie. I am viewing the 3 episodes as a movie though so my comment still stands ;)

As to whether I will go - I have too much on this year so it is looking unlikely. Michael Jackson and the Download Festival has eaten my money, but if I find some later in the year and tickets are available then I would go again.

ditto, i'm going 2 MJ and Download (hopefully) aswell plus ACDC and Saxon. I was going to see Spinal Tap but they're playing the day b4 ACDC! argh!,
who at Download are you mainly going for? i would love to see Faith no more but i don't think they're 'reunion' is that good because Jim Martin isn't there.

Not me. Far too busy with work. Read the report on the site though.

Was surprised to see Chloe went. Thought it funny she wasn't in the new episodes and wondered if there had been any issues. Obviously not.

Seems the gist of the weekend though is a new series has been comissioned.

I went to my first DJ this year...and sat there for the new series announcement! What a result!!

I've read lots of stuff on the internet about the announcement that frankly, isn't true. I've heard that there will be a live audience and that Holly will return and that it will be called series IX. All of this information is not fact. All that was said is that Dave have commisioned 6 scripts for hopefull airing at the end of next year....that is all! Any talk of audiences, Holly series number etc was pure speculation. Nothing more.

But what a weekend hey!!??!!
